How to do the Russian Twist

Next is an exercise called the Russian Twist. Here we see our player lying on his back with his feet on the ground, knees bent, and body leaning at a 45-degree angle. His arms are held straight out from the shoulder and parallel with his thighs. If desired, holding a racquet increases the resistance. He then rotates side to side turning his shoulders until his arms are at 90-degree angles with his body, making a full twist to the opposite side. Over and back makes one repetition.
