The next receiver drill we are going to use is called our slide drill, we could actually slide left and right. Our receiver is going to basically, run forward at about quarter speed until he gets to the line and then he is going to shuffle slide like a basketball move to the left. Randal let us show everybody what that looks like. Get to the line and then slide left.
Then he is in a good athletic position to accept the ball. Welcome back Randal. The next time, what we are going to do is have him slide to his left and JP, why do you not get down here and you will do rapid fire one after the other and I will throw the ball and he will do a freeze drill, while he is sliding. Instead of moving at the quarterback, he is moving away from the quarterback and he is catching the football. Ball tap, shuffle, slide with a good freeze drill. Good job by Randal.
