How to do the Spin and Catch

This next trick is a good way for the teacher to make sure that all of the students get to know one another's names. In fact, it can also help the teacher to get to know the students names as well. Have the juniors up and have them turn away from one another. Then, have them call out their partners' name who then turns to catch the ball, which has been thrown to them on one bounce. With a lot of children, this exercise can be turned into competition by seeing how many balls they can catch in a 30 second time period.
