To add a little poses to your routine, now let’s say you’re doing a bar mitzvah or a birthday party or wedding or a funeral. That little poses, you might add what is called a Prewett like so, a spin.
In order to do that, I make sure that I’m going out of pretty slow rate, will give me time to complete my spin. Now it’s going to hit the black stick and I’ll try to slap it up kind of high to give me time to complete the Prewett.
Alright, now in order to do the Prewett. Notice, I’m actually sort of almost jump starting my opening up as I hit it and I pivot off my back foot like so. In that way I’m coming forward. I should be able to find the stick. I also, I tried to keep my back or actually I keep my head turning from shoulder and then I quickly bring it to my other shoulder as my body rotates around. So again, it should look something like this.
