Okay, the next drill we are going to talk about is called the straight line drill. We always going to end every drill when we have ball involved with the receiver with the freeze drill. So we would like to have the receiver to catch it with his hands fully extended then secure the ball. We are going to add one dimension to the drill. We are going to ask him to run almost full speed free quarters the full speed straight on the line and catch the ball that is going to be thrown a little bit harder than just the other drill. This is going to be a full velocity ball. Again, you can see there is a little more velocity on the throw, you get the receiver to run a little faster. You still get a great freeze techniques but we also get the quarterback throwing a little hotter ball making sure the player can run his feet and also catch the ball in his hands, straight line freeze drill.
