Do you go to the closet and say, I have nothing to wear? Me too, especially, when I have a special occasion to attend. Well, I discovered that I can redesign a clothing and have it delivered right to my door, and that's a great way to do your part and save some serious money at the same time.
Take a look at these designer dresses delivered right to my door. Both retailed for more than $500 but I can rent each of them for about 70 bucks a week from weartodaygonetomorrow.com. You can find clothes from some of the biggest designers, and renting them is an affordable option, plus it's a lot easier on the environment.
If you don't mind sharing your own wardrobe, there are some online swap sites that are practically free. swapstyle.com and dignswap.com are just two sites where you can swap clothes for a minimal fee getting much more use out of those items just sitting around in our closets. And here is an idea if you own a dress that you don't plan to wear again, donate it. Organizations like Abby's Closet take dresses and turn them into prom-dresses for teens that can't afford them.
So the next time you have nothing to wear, remember that doesn't mean you have to buy a new outfit, renting or swapping clothing is not only easier on your pocket but it's better for the planet.
