The HomeServe guide to getting chewing gum off clothes
The icky sticky mess of chewing gum on clothes is one of the most irritating things in life but luckily you do not have to bend your favorite top as this is a crisis that can be solve. Here is HomeServe’s guide to get the chewy adds.
Step one, freeze it. First, take the gum on top and spare your blushes by putting something else on. Put the spoiled clothes in the freezer and leave for an hour or two.
Step two, scrape it. When the gum is frozen hard scrape it off with a blunt knife. This should get rid off most if not all of the gum.
Step three, scrub it. Next, squirt on a little washing up liquid and salt. Rub against the thread of the fabric and the last of the mess should come off.
Step four, wash it. Okay, finally took in the wash and it will be good as new. Done!
We hope you enjoyed this tip.
