How to get the Military Inspired Look

Designers use the world landscape for inspiration, and this fall, many designers continue to draw from military look for their collections. Dressing in cargo pants and Annapolis sweater fits together. Interpretations such as John Paul's clothings can be too costly. Instead, visit your local army navy store, look for an officer's jacket, in standard colors, like almond green or navy with multiple pockets that hits above the knee. Pair the jacket with a white belt. Your overcoat has now been transformed into a chic coat dress. Soften the overall look with a lighter weight textured dress underneath, just an inch or so longer than the coat. Finally, a shorter military jacket that hits just at the waist, is great paired with a longer t-shirt and leggings like that.
