Hi! How you doing? This is cooking with Dave and I'm Dave. I'm the World's Greatest Chef, and it says so right here on my apron. Hey, today I'm going to cook some from my favorite snacks, what I called snacks. It's not a good snack, not very healthy, but very, very good, it's called the Cholesterol Sandwich. Alright. We want to cook some bacon and we want to make it crisp. Don't cook it too fast, we'll cook it just slow, we don't want it shrivel up, trying to make it kind of crispy bacon. So we want the seeing the sandwich something like this.
Okay. Okay, so our bacon is pretty done and it looks pretty crispy, cooked all the way just about. I'm going to take it up and I'm going to drain the grease out of my pan then I'm going to cook a egg in this pan for sandwich. I think the important thing about using the black frying pan is you have to have that pan blow hot. So, we don't get it real hot before, we try to use.
Now I just cracking the egg right in the middle of pan, and we will go ahead and break the yellow. What I am going to break my yellow, I'm cooking egg sandwich. I like to break my yellow. That's why I call this, I call this as egg sandwich, but we don't put on our flesh roll sandwich. My bacon is good, I'll see the bacon. Our bacon is good. We got our egg, we got to bacon and then we got our bread, I'm just about ready to finish off our sandwich.
Here we took cut pieces of bread, we take some mayonnaise, put it on the bread. You could put it on both sides if you want to, I'll just put it on to one side, just want a little bit of moisture, for my sandwich. Alright, then we are going to put our egg, right there on the bread. Then we are going to take a piece of cheese and put the piece of cheese, right there on the egg. And the egg and the bacon is hot, so it will start melting cheese. Alright and we'll put bacon right on top of that cheese. Some over here, and fill over there, and put on top of that. Bam. That's what's you called a Cholesterol Sandwich.
Now we could take that thing one step further and we could put it on the -- we can grill this bread. Well, how do you like this? It's up to you. You can grill it or heat like this, what do you all think, we should grill it? Alright, we'll grill it. I think before we grill it, we are going to need to put some more mayonnaise, really put some more mayonnaise on this side, so it'll stick and not fall our bacon. Little more mayonnaise, make it even more in the Cholesterol Sandwich. We put mayonnaise on the bread on the other side and that way it will hold it to our bacon.
Now in order to grill it, you have to have put some butter on it. So take some butter, just take little bit of butter and just put it in the bread and it kind of like making toast, just put it on the bread there, so your bread doesn't burn up while you grilling it. Just put a little bit of butter here and there on the sandwich. Alright. And then we are going to go back to our trusty frying pan. We'll put a little butter in it, make sure it's hot.
Okay, now we are going to grill our cholesterol sandwich and make it ultimate cholesterol sandwich. Bacon, egg and cheese on toast, grilled. Man, how can you go wrong with that? We put that, Boom! Butter side down, we put that. When that's cooking on one side, we'll go ahead and put butter on the other side also. Just put some butter on the bread so it doesn't burn the bread up while grilling it. I'm going to put some butter on there, some butter on there, alright.
Now we will check it. So that'll cook nice, grilled nice on one side, you see, beautiful, and cook this side the same way and then we have our Cholesterol Sandwich. Alright, there we go. Cholesterol Sandwich. Okay, this has been Cooking with Dave and once again, cook Cholesterol Sandwich. Bacon, egg and cheese on toast, grilled it, happened to go wrong, that is one sandwich.
