Hey, how are all doing today? I am Dave. Today, we are going to turn Jack here into Jac-O-Lantern. We are going to make this pumpkin into something we can put candle in and Make scare of children when they come up for trick and treating.
So we can say we are here for holiday or for Halloween, but Halloween is holiday but you don’t get time off from work. So how come it is holiday when you don’t get off from work? You know what I am saying. Anyway, we are going to take Jack here and make Jack-O-Lantern. So, I will bring this here and I will show you how we do it.
Messes around with this pumpkin, got me thinking hey I should make some pumpkin pie. I like pumpkin pie. Fist thing I will say is be sure that you have with you just old enough and qualified to use a knife and carve up a pumpkin. Don’t be carving a pumpkin on your own because that isn’t right. I like drawing a little line around the top where I am going to cut his head off and try to clean him out of everything, and put my candle inside so I can light him up. And what we got to use one side and the other for his face. We got a big dent right there. That’s pretty smooth right there. I think we’re going to carve out his face right there.
So all we got to do is draw some eyes and a nose. You’d draw them how we want—remember the more elaborate you get with your drawing then the more elaborate you are cutting has to be. So it’s up to you how much you want to carve out is how elaborate your drawing is. And I saw this people making a crazy pumpkin and I said the best way to make crazy pumpkin is to buy a pumpkin that already looks crazy, and then you can have crazy pumpkin. And then I will leave some teeth in there. He got to have some teeth. Not many, because like I said, the more drawing you do the more carving you got to do. Alright, that is my pumpkin.
Okay, the first thing you have to do is you cut this part on top. I will try to stay with my line to the best I can and cut his head off. There, once you get his head fell off, now you see all these scenes and such. We got to clean all that out and I just dig all these out. This is what I call the meat of the pumpkin. That is what I call the meat of the pumpkin we will leave that behind. All we have to do is scrape all this out inside here.
Alright, now our pumpkin is all scraped out inside and ready to go. All we have to do is take our knife and try to follow this line as best as you can. Remember get somebody who is old enough to handle the knife and cut your pumpkin. I just want to follow my line and maybe I can, maybe can’t. So I will try and cut that out to make some eyeballs so that our candle will shine through at night and light it up. Crooked nose, what is that? Crooked nose! We don’t want to try and leave our teeth behind. That ain’t going to be easy. Use a smaller knife to cut the teeth out. Give it up tooth! Alright, what you all think? Does it look like Jack-O-Lantern? It looks like a Jack-O-Lantern to me.
Alright here we are with our Jack-O-Lantern and with candle. Put the candle down there so it stands up straight. Put a lit on it. So that’s the way to do a Jack-O-Lantern I hope you all enjoyed it. You all have a great day, thanks.
