Hey how are you doing it’s cooking with Dave once again I’m Dave I’m the world’s greatest chef. I know I am so obsessed so right here on—. Anyway today we’re going to cook some stuff jalapenos on the grill, we’re going to slice it in half, we’re going to dig out any stems, throw those stems away, we’re going to take some cream cheese that has some onions and some chives in it. Spread that in there and put them back together, we’re going to wrap up and put some bacon and roll them out in an aluminum foil and them on your grill or they will be good.
Okay this is pretty simple we’re just going to take our jalapeño and cut it in a little half with some curve right down in the middle and then I’m just going to dig on the sides. This is where really where your hot flavor comes and this is from the seasoning in the sides. We give our insides and it is not going to be so hot. Let’s just wash them right now, now take me a little bit of this cream cheese and it’s got chimes and onions in it and I’ just going to spread it right in the middle there and I’m going to spread it we’re in the middle right there and like that all doesn’t have to look good oh man this can be yummy. Then I’m going to put it back together like so and what’s going to hold together you say hey how about a piece of bacon.
So I’ll take a piece of bacon and roll that bacon right around the pepper like that and I’ll show you that and what we’ll do is you take this little piece of tin foil and I will put tin foil around that. See that just simple wrap it around like that the bone and then we will just set that right on the grill and oh you would cook and it will be yummy. Actually how would you do that?
I will take my knife and I’m just going to put some holes in that aluminum foil and I put it down and give that grease somewhere around out so it doesn’t stay up in my cooks of bacon and I’m going to put the holes down so that grease can run out of my tin foil.
We have our jalapeño poppers right here got my holes and I’m just going to set them around the grill, holes side down and then our jalapeño poppers at bacon start cooking. When that bacon is done my jalapeño’s are done. That’s all—making it get done, this is going to be nice, it can be juicy and good and I’ll go ahead and close the lid on this and just let them cook and they will be wonderful.
Okay we’ve been cooking our jalapeños for about 45 minutes and I live close I’ve got the grill turned it up with that medium just cook them I will take them out and see what it looked like and they’re going to be wonderful.
Okay here’s our jalapeño poppers right up the grill it’s a little hot but they’re okay, tin foil keep it cool. Just pull that out of there, hello fire! A little bacon grease build up, had a little fire but it’s okay, tin foil makes it nice well bacon cooked around a jalapeño with some cream of cheese, half when you go wrong. There we go our jalapeño poppers.
