Would have been appreciated if the "spices" and "green sauce" components were provided. Not really a "recipe" and would be nice if it were updated to actually be one.

Israelis are funny people. They now eat Arab food, first of all, as if occupying other people's land wasn't enough; now they have to occupy other people's cuisine! Also, they pronounce hummus like khummoos. They do the same thing with Khamas and Khizbullah.

How to make Masabacha

Sharon: Now, we're making the Hummus Masabacha. The Masabacha is basically a mixture of the chickpeas itself with the Hummus. He's putting some chickpeas. He's going to mix it. He's putting the Hummus inside the plate, when it already has been mixed. Now, it's the famous circle. Now, you may place in order to put some chickpeas on the top, for the flavor and for the beauty of it. Now, he is putting the green sauce. We use the special sauce that we make here that's made of most of it by putting lemon. He's taking a half-boiled egg and putting on the top of the Hummus, putting some spices, adding some parsley. Now, he is putting a new thing here on the menu, it's called roasted pine nuts. It's going very well with the pine nuts and there you have it, Hummus Masabacha, one with egg and one without.
