How to make Women's jewelry - Part 1/3

I had no intention of becoming a jeweler. I studied literature and philosophy in a University and then I graduated and I was trying to find a job in that field and I couldn’t find one for five months. So as essentially unemployed I ended up working in an office so I didn’t really know what I wanted to do. I didn’t know that I need to create. If I am not creating I am not happy. So I was feeling like this dream was emerging about creating. I didn’t know what, it was very vague and I just happen to go in to this boutique seven or eight years ago. Wearing a very simple beaded choker and the owner looked at me and it was some kind of a divine guidance angel and he said “oh, you know you should design me a collection”.

So, I went out and bought myself beads, and wire and taught myself essentially how to make jewelry. And then a week later my company was born and then after a while I realized that this really where a lot of my passion is and I really love doing this. So then I turn you know how to get in the business angle and then I built a business and yes so its been seven and a half years. Basically, I traditionally believe that stones natural crystals found in nature not man made but found in nature carries certain vibrations that can be beneficial to people and different stones carry different vibrations so can affect people in different ways.

So I did a lot of research about that and then there are still so much to learn among scratching the surface but if I could make a piece of jewelry with a stone in it that can affect someone in positive way, my job is done. And this really what is all about and this is where I am trying to do just put a bit of healing, a bit of positivity, a bit of hope, a bit of harmony in to my pieces and a lot of people get things custom made so I’ll talk to them to see if there is any specific physical or emotional or mental or spiritual problems and then I can address that with the stone and find the proper stone and I mean I really think it works and I wear my crystals everyday. I am wearing this crystal today and of course its with me right now. I am wearing an amethyst today and I never leave the house without my crystals and I really feel like— I feel the energy coming from the stone. I mean its just things found in nature just like natural herbs or remedies. Its just natural human powers.
