Tuck: Hello, Tuck here.
Rob: Hey, Tuck what’s up man it’s Rob.from ThreadBanger.
Tuck: Hey, Rob nice to hear from you man.
Rob: Hey, so I know that we are talking about doing a pilot with you and Snippit and I was thinking if you we’re still interested.
Tuck: Yeah, I would love to do a pilot.
Rob: Yeah, so here’s a deal we’re going to air it in the network and see what people think and see if it’s a good fit for ThreadBanger. You know, just showing us some cool DIY tips on the tricks on the cheap.
Tuck: DIY show, sounds good, all I know we got pilots on.
Rob: Yeah, cool man I’m eager to see it, yeah I will talk to you soon.
Tuck: Talk to you later bud, thanks again.
Hey, everyone I’m and that’s Snippit.
Snippit: That’s me.
Tuck: We’re the host of the newest DIY show to hit the web. For this episode we’re going to do a quick and simple tutorial.
Snippit: The bike chain bracelet, stuff you’ll need a bike chain tool, some bike chain degreaser and some wire bread tie or jewelry clasp.
Tuck: Yeah, and a whole bunch of bike chain. If you’re using and old chain you’re got to want to use some degreaser to get rid of that dirt and geode. Put you’re chain in a bucket like so take the cap off you’re degreaser pour a little in.
Snippit: Hit the road dirt and don’t you come back no more, no more, no more.
Tuck: Hit the road dirt and don’t you come back no more, no more, no more. And we’re going to pull it out now and let it dry for a bit, now you’re chain is all clean and sparkly and we move on the fun part, the first step is to measure you’re wrist. Mine is eight inches, so what you want to do is measure out eight inches along your chain.
So you got to pull out you’re bike chain tool you’ll notice there’s a couple pranks and that’s where the chain will sit. It will be just like that and now being in the perfect position for the pin to go through. So it may take a minute, but as you notice you push it all the way out and notice the pin drop out right here just keep watching, out the pin went, see and that just separate you’re chain length.
This separated chain length and this is our one inch book ring it’s going to work as a class. It’s going to thread through the two holes and connect up, so it looks like this. You can also use a jewelry clasp.
So I made some braces for both of us, here they are if you like some more ideas on what to do with bike chain check out RestoresRevival.com for a platter of things you can make. Well that’s it for this show until next time, I’m Tuck.
Snippit: And I’m Snippit, just go rock out with you’re scissors out.
Tuck: Just go rock out with you’re scissors out.
