Hi stampers! We are going to make this adorable, super cute book marker I found on Mary Joe’s blog site. She made this and I am going to show you how to make that today but you can click up on top of my blog post to go visit Mary Joe.
This book marker is fabulous. You are all going to love it. All right, first you are going to use your--I am using Certainly Celery and you are going to cut that in 1 ½” wide by however long you want your bookmarker to be. Okay so then you are going to go ahead and stamp your image. I am using the flower from the So Many Scallops from the Celebration Set and I am using Regal Rose ink. So I am just stamping up my ink on my stamp. I will stamp my image and then I am going to use my scallop punch. I am going to punch, I am going to punch this flower out and it matches up perfectly. Punch that out then I am going to use my certainly celery then I am going to use the 1” circle punch. Just going to punch the circle out for that and then I am going to adhere a little tiny piece of adhesive to the center of my certainly celery and I am going to layer that on my top of my flower.
And then now, for the book marker, you are going to use your scallop punch and you are going to feed this into your punch. I want to see if I can do this for you. Okay, you are just going to feed in your--I am using certainly celery, so you are just going to fit in like that and then you are going to punch your edge. Okay, so your book marker should look like that then you are going to take your flower and you can just adhere a little tiny piece of adhesive right to the center of your flower and you are going to line that up with the edge on your book marker, like that. Then, I am going to use my crop-a-dile. I am going to use the 3/16” side and you will notice there is an adjustment over here on this side and you can twist this and tighten it up if you want it, however deep you want your punch to go. I am just going to leave mine freely open. So, we are going to use 3/16” side and I am want to punch a circle hole in the center of my certainly celery, like that then I am using the jumbo eyelets. These are fabulous. I am going to adhere my jumbo eyelet in the center of my book marker and it takes some little bit of wiggling but it does fit inside that hole. So, just wiggle it in there. There you go.
Okay, so now, I am going to take crop-a-dile. Again, I am going to use this stamp part, and if you notice, you can adjust these setting tools here and I am using the side A for the stamp and I am using four for the setting part over here on this side. So, four and, I am sorry, A and four and I want to take this stamp part of my crop-a-dile and I want to insert it in the front of my jumbo eyelet and I am going to squeeze that and you probably heard that, it has set it. Then I am going to take my Rhinestone brads, so beautiful and I am using the very large circle, (where did they go) these are from the fire circles, rhinestone brads. I am just going to add some blink to my book marker so I am going to put my--fits perfectly, I want to put my brad inside of the center of the jumbo eyelet. And then I went ahead and added some doodle sots to the side of my book mark and then I am going to add some to the center of my flower.
