Hi stampers! Today I am going to show you how to make the double back pouch. It is really easy, I am using the designer paper from the ski slope from the Holiday Mini. When you are going to use a 12 x 12 piece of designer paper and whatever side you want to show on your double bag, you want that facing down. So let us go ahead and get started.
I am going to score my designer paper at 1 x 11 inches. I will get my bone folder here. So score it one inch and then slide it down and score it 11 inches. Now this is the time you are going to get your adhesive out and I am going to place adhesive on that score line at that one inch area and I am going to fold over my score lines like that. I am going to do both sides. Now you are going to put the designer paper back in the cutter and you are going to score it 3 ½ and 8 ½. So now you are going to fold over these score lines. Now you can go ahead and adhere this down but I am going to wait because I want to do something first.
So then once you got your score liens folded, then you are going to score it 4 ¼, we are through a lot of pieces of designer paper there so kind of score kind it heavily. So you scored it 4 ¼ then you are going to score that 5 and then 5 ¾. Now we are done with the scoring part of it so I am going to open it back up and I am going to fold on those score lines because I can see them much better when it is open. So once you got all of your score lines folded, I am going to go back to the step that we folded these together and I am going to adhere this together with the stripper snail and then just fold that over. Then this is going to be your pouch. Just fold it and then score it, I will get my bone folder again. You want the crease on the inside of your pouch bag. So then this would be the time that you would put your bag together. You can put some snail or some sticky strip right there and adhere that shut but that is it and then your cards can fit right in there which fits out 4 ¼ x 4 ¼ card, very cute bag!
So now for the handle, I am going to go ahead and use my paper piercing tool on the mat. I am going to lay my bag like it is when it is sitting up or when it is closed. I am just going to go ahead and use my paper-piercing tool and I am going to punch a hole where I want my eyelets to go and this is just going to serve as a guide for myself where I want to put the jumble eyelets. So that it will go to both pieces so they will be lined up perfectly. Now I am showing you how to do the handle, I figured I would do another piece of cardstock just to give you an idea because it is going to be hard for me to show you on that bag.
So I just got some cardstock. Now imagine this is going to be your handle okay, I am just going to show you on here so you can see what I am going to do. I am using white taffeta ribbon with the jumbo eyelets and what you are going to do is you are going to grab your crop-a-dile with 3 1/16 right there then. I am grab a jumbo eyelet and then on the back side of my cardstocks because this is where my handle is going to be so this would be like considered the front of your bag. I am going to go ahead on the backside of that hole, I am just going to apply a little bit of adhesive on each of this ribbons so I can feed it through really good. I am going to feed it through the front and to the backside. You want to make sure your ribbon is straight and then I am going to adhere this to the backside just to temporarily hold it in place. I will pull it through a little bit more. And then I am going to move the ribbon but hold it with my fingers so it is really tight so I can put that jumbo eyelet in there. Then I am going to take my crop-a-dile and I am going to punch this closed and then that is going to hold your ribbon in place too. Then you can adjust your handle a little bit. That gives you a little bit of playroom there but then that would be your handle.
And then on the opposite side and once I would do that front, then I will just line up the eyelets on the other side and then just make the adjustments for the ribbon to be the same length. It is really easy.
All right, thanks for stopping and we will see you later, bye!
