Hi! Stampers. Today, we’re going to make this Faux Quilting card and it’s so cute, and it’s really so easy. Okay so let’s get started.
We’re going to start with the piece of whisper white cut at 4x5. And then what you’re going to do is you’re going to just take some designer paper. I’m using the bashful blue designer paper pack and I just punched out 12 squares with the one and one quarter circle or one and one quarter square punch. So you’re going to punch 12 of those out and then you’re just going to go ahead and adhere them all to this piece of whisper white. Making sure they bond up against each other. So I went ahead and did this before hand so it wouldn’t take up so much time but then you’re finished. The piece of card stack will look like this. And then you’re going to grab big shot with you’re Top Note Bigz Die so hold and make it that.
So we got our Big Shot and what you’re going to do is to lay your acrylic cutting pad down at the Top Note Bigz Die and then you’re just going to take piece of whisper white with your designer paper. And just position this right overtop of your top note. And then put you’re acrylic cutting pad on top of that, make your sandwich and then roll it through. And then you’re going to end up with your full quilting right there.
Okay so this is what you’re going to end up with. So let’s get this out of the way. So here’s your faux quilting. Now you’re going to do is you’re just going to take a black marker and then you’re going to add like X’s just like you give it the full stitching look. So you’re just go ahead and just make X’s across your top note like that. So there’s full stitching on your boxes here, let me get you an up-close picture of that. See isn’t that cute? Love it!
So then to finish off my card, I’m just going to use the oval all which is the brand new stamp set. And I’m going to use the stamp set are the stamp that has fabulous friend and I’m going to use the brand new oval—Scallop oval punch. I’m so excited of those punch, I can’t believe it. So then I’m just going to use the basic gray and whisper white and I’m just going to stamp this image on the whisper white. And then I’m going to take the large oval punch and this—this image fits perfectly in there. So we’re just going to use that and then you’re going to take the scallop oval and some bashful blue card stack. And you’re just going to punch that out, take the dimensional and then layer this onto your scallop book. And layer this on your scallop oval. Okay so let me just go ahead and color these flowers real quick with the bashful blue marker. Then we’re just going to put another dimensional on the back of that and then just layer that right in the center of the quilt. Then take your white gel pen and just add some doodle dots on your scallops. So that’s how you do that. Its easy right? And here’s the finished car and here’s the one we made.
Thanks for stopping by, we’ll see you later bye.
