How to make a long island iced-tea?
Speaker: Hi! We are here today at Jabu's pub in Seattle, Washington. We're going to learn how to make a long island iced-tea.
Items you are going to need:
Pine glass, sweet and sour, all your white liquors, which are vodka, rum, gin and triple sec. Now something to keep in mind, if you don't necessarily need to use the top shelf, top shelf because you are mixing so many different liquors together, you're probably are going to pick it out whether it's top shelf or not. Other things that you're going to need is a lemon wedge and a little splash of coke.
So let's get started, we're going to pick our pine glass, fill it all the way to the top with ice, as such. Now, I like to do kind of a double pour at one time, it makes me look cool. So we're going to go ahead and do a one-two count. Now, long island iced-teas are very high on octane. So another one-two count.
If you notice, this looks like a double and it is. So you can't have too many of these and stay same. So we're going to go ahead and fill it up with our sweet and sour up to the top, put a splash of coke for color in there, I am going to grab a straw, a lemon wedge and let's go to the beach.
