Hi stampers! Today I thought I would show you the never-ending card. It’s really awesome because it never ends you just keep opening it and opening it and then you are back to the beginning. It is really, really, easy to make. I am going to show you how to do that today so let’s get started.
Okay you’re going to need 4 pieces of card stock cut at 3 x 6—four of them. Okay so then you are going to take all 4 pieces of card stock and you are going to score it at 1 ½ down the center (vertical) and then (horizontally) you’re going to score each of your four ends at 1 ½. So you’re going to score vertical at 1 ½ and then 1 ½ at each end, and you’re going to do all 4 pieces like that. And that is pretty much it as far as the card stock.
Okay, so now you’re going to lay your 2 pieces of card stock. Lay them up next to each other. So you’re going to have your center lines going vertical which is up and down, and butt those up together like that. And then you’re going to take your adhesive and you’re going to put the adhesive in all 4 corners, put quite a bit because you don’t want it to come apart. So you got your 2 pieces butted up against each other like that. You want that pretty good and centered.
And then you’re going to take your other remaining two pieces and you're going to put those horizontals. You’re going to take the center line and you’re going to put it side ways. And a good way to know horizontal is one of my stamping queens Laura, she told me this a long time ago. To think of horizontal think of the horizon. So I’ve always remember that, thank you Laura.
So you’re going to take your first piece and you’re going to lay it at the top lining it up perfectly onto your adhesive. Then you're going to take your other piece horizontal and put that up to the center. It should line up perfectly. Okay that’s your card.
So now, you're going to be doing a lot of scoring. So this is going to be the front of your card. You're going to fold your score line. And so you have your card like this, but now you’re going to take this part right here and you’re going to fold that part back to—score that, fold it.
So now lets start at the beginning here. So now, you’re going to fold your card open and this should go back to the back, see how that does that? Okay, so this is your second panel. You’re going to fold this part over like that. Make sure you brinish your edges really good where you scored and you are going to take your bottom part and do the same thing folding it over. Okay then so this is your third panel, then you're just going to flip it and this is your last panel and then you’re back to the beginning.
Okay, one thing also with this card—let me show you how it opens again. So this is the front of your card, flip it, flip it, and flip it. One think also I want to show you before I forget, when you’re stamping your images—that’s why the company is really a great set because it got all these images in one set. But when you are opening your piano you want to stamp it after you’ve put your card actually together because you’ll have some images overlapping. So for instance this is the front and you open it and see now how this panel is going to pop open, but this two ends right here stayed there. So stamp your never-ending card after you’ve put it together, then you can see where your images will be.
I hope this inspired you. Thank you, see you, and bye!
