Hey, YouTubers, I wanted to make a short video of this piece of pottery asking your help to see if I could identify the artist. This is a piece of pottery that a good friend of mine gave me about six months or so ago and I do not know who the artist is. I know that he bought it online.
Unfortunately, this real good friend of mine that died real suddenly and so I do not have the opportunity now to ask him who the artist is. I know that he purchased it online. Obviously, the bottom to strain there, do this one-handed here, okay, the bottom has a signature and it also has a stamp. Here is the stamp, I do not know if my camera is going to pick that up very well, of the potter and then the signature actually goes this direction.
Signature looks like it starts with an A and that is about all I can make of it so if you are the artist or if you know who the artist is, I would love to know. This is obviously, as you can see a systic gorgeous piece of pottery. I love that copper wire that the artist put in. It is definitely recoil, you can tell by the glaze on the outside and the fact that is all black on the inside. It is a great piece, it is obviously very special to me and I would just like to know who made it so if you have any ideas, let me know, until next time.
