How to make a Small Paper Wallet

Small Paper Wallet with Dawn Visit my web site for more hand stamped projects DawnsStampingThoughts Hi stampers! Today I want to show how I made this paper wallet. I am using the Bella rose designer paper along with the Dreams Du Jour Stamp set and when you open it, it is going to have two small pocket where you can put money or pictures or anything small and when I close this shut, I want to use the chocolate taffeta ribbon and you just wrap it around and just tie a bow on the side. It is really cute. I am going to actually take this on a part and show how I did it. So let us get started. You are going to use your designer paper and you are going to cut that 8 ¼” x 8 3/8” and an 8 3/8” side, you are score at a ½” and then again at 2” and then you are going to do the same thing on the other side scored at ½” and then scored at 2”. Then you are going to turn your designer paper and you are going to score on 8 ¼” side. You are going to score at 3 ¼” and then you are going to score that 6 5/8”. Okay, so once you do that, now we are going to fold all the score lines. This is the ½” I am folding that over so it looks like that. And then you are going to take this corners here and you are going to line that up with the 2” score line right down here and you are going to do that to all four corners. So, let us go ahead and do that. I also want to say that whatever side you have facing down like I have the chocolate side facing down, this will be the bottom of my wallet, the chocolate. So, just make sure if you want a certain side to be at the bottom, you put the face down of that. Okay, so fold all your corners in to match the two end score line and then once you did that, then you are going to fold over your two-end score line. So, it should look like that and then you are going to flip it over and then you are going to fold over the 3 ¼” score line and then this is 6 5/8”. You are going to fold that over and you are going to tuck it in under this pockets right here, like that and then that makes your little wallet. You can actually do it this way too if you want to have this on the outside. See what I mean about the chocolate being in on the bottom. So, if I wanted the checkers on the bottom, I want to have the checkers facing down, all right? And then you just take your ribbon, just tie it close. I cannot do it upside down.
