Ups! This is not 'Tortilla de patata' (spanish omelette). Onions into large chunks? If so, you will go to hell, sure you will. Potatoes into squares? The slimmer, the finest Tortilla you will get. Salt in hot olive oil? Never! It's just a sin ;-)... Best regards from 'The House of The Tortilla' (Spain)

In the United States that music has been introduced as if it's from Spain. The Gypsy Kings were popular so we don't see it as an insult to Spaniards. I am half Spanish myself.

To much oil! And you have to take care with details, you cant add salt to oil like this way :S And, that music is muslim, not spanish. After watch this video, i´m thinking about making a real spanish omelette tutorial.

How to make a Spanish omelette

Tortilla espanola. Spanish omelet. Cut onions into large chunks. Olive oil, salt. Fry onions till glassy. Cut potatoes into squares. Fry potatoes with onions, 15-25 minutes depending on quantity. Take the potatoes and onions out of oil. Use a cloth to better drain the oil off. Leave a little oil in the pan. Scramble two eggs, more for large tortillas. Mix fried potatoes and onions with eggs. Flip tortilla with a plate. Flip again.
