Hi stampers! Today I want to show you how I made this little tag book and when you open it up, I made this from a couple of years ago from when we went to convention and it opens and has all these little tags with pictures on them. And this way it has this, and then when you pull it, it just stays flat like that. This is cute huh? I want to show you how I did that today. I am using tempting turquoise, lovely lilac, and orchid, you are going to need two pieces of cardstock cut at 6 x 6, and I want to go ahead and put one sticky strip on one side. And then you are going to use your accordion piece just cut at 4 x 6 and you are going to score it half inch all the way down. So you are going to score it half inch, once inch, one and a half, two inch and so on. Then you are just going to fold that accordion style like that. And then you are going to need nine tags and minor cut at 4 x 2. How I do this is I just cut them all 4 x 2 and then I just cut one at the angle that I want and then I just take the remainder of them and I line that up with the same side. So then I can just cut them and that will be the same size. So go ahead and do that, you are going to need nine of them. I am just using the lovely lilac and the orchid ampulants, very cute together with the tempting turquoise.
So once you get your card all cut, I want to go ahead and make my book with that piece over there. I am going to peel off the sticky strip and then now for this one, I put the seem on the outside but you can cover that up with designer paper. But for this one, I am going to adhere it on the outside or on the inside of my books so I am just going to line this up with this edge right here like this. Then adhere it down. So when it is closed, it will not show. And then I am going to do the other side the same way. Okay, so here is my book. Now you are going to open up your book and you are going to have all these accordions in here and you are going to start - I am going to use the snail adhesive but you can also use the sticky strip if you want it more stable. I want to go ahead and adhere the first tag to this right here. So you are just going to apply that right up to the score line on the edge like that then I am going to take my opposite color which is the lovely lilac, apply some snail there. And I am going to go on the back side of this right here and I want to wind that up with this edge of this tag like that. And then I want to go back to the main orchid and do the same thing as I did to the first one right here. I am just going to align this while I put this lovely lilac.
Then you are just going to apply your tags the same way, you are going to have three on each side, three in the middle and three on the other side. You are going to take another orchid ampulants and then the last one, the last accordion fold over, I am going to go inside like that. So when you open it, it is going to be like that but when you close it - so here is another one that is the outside seem here. And you could actually decorate all side of your tags if you want but here is the finished one. I did not do the back side of this so when you open it, it is going to flip like that and then you can just look at each picture.
It is really easy! So girls, when you decorate your book, just put your ribbon underneath your designer paper, your stamped images and then just put a ribbon right underneath there and then you can tie it shut like that. Thanks for stopping by, we will see you later, bye!
