Cindy: Good evening everybody, this is Cindy and I am going to show you a simple recipe for Potato salad, which is really good and I cannot buy already made, so that's tasty so this is the way I make it. You see now the weather is getting warmer, it's a perfect food for this time of the year, okay obviously you boil your potatoes, you don't want to over boil, I would say, if you cut them up thin enough, maybe you are cooking them for ten minutes and you going to use your judgment because they get too mushy you are going to have mashed potatoes.
Alright, what I do after that, now there's a variety of ways of what potatoes you want to use. I just happen to have these so I don't go back so we use them, they are higher in starch. So you can use the purple potatoes, if you guys ever had them, they are wonderful, there are our red potatoes, there are the creamy yellow potatoes, they are a little more expensive, but they are really good, but this is going to be good too.
Alright, obviously, well, not obviously because some people don't, I like using mayonnaise and definitely not Miracle Whip, that is gross and I can't help it, I grew up with Hellman's and that's what I like. So I am going to do that, I like it creamy and what's really going to give a good flavor, is you know me and my fresh herbs this is fresh still. So I am going to put that in here, along with chopped up celery and I am going to use about one onion, one medium onion to get on with this, okay, of course I am going to use salt and where is my pepper? That's my only problem; that is the ingredient problem. Alright I cannot find it right now, but I am going to use the pepper, it's the kind that you have to grind, it's much better tasting so use them. Something going to spice some is Heinz Vinegar and I am using the white distilled. Very good and that's it, I hope you enjoy it.
