Female: Hi Yana
Yana: Yes, my name is Yana. I come from Czech Republic. My husband works for International companies so we travel a lot. We have been in South Africa for three years now.
Female: What kind of food are you going to cook for me today?
Yana: Well, I will cook for you today something very easy and something really Czech, it is a garlic soup.
Female: Do you eat garlic a lot?
Yana: Yes, well it depends. Some people do some do not, but garlic is part of many foods we cook back in the Czech Republic. It is very easy to make, it is very healthy, it is very good if you have hangover and it is good when it is winter because it warms you up.
Boil a salt, then you are going to need potatoes. You cut the potatoes, do you eat potatoes?
Female: Yes.
Yana: So the potatoes are [Muffled] just put that back in there. And you see you have this kind of the egg and the beans like this. Press the garlic into the soup. You can put as much as you want or you know if you do not like you can add some cumin or you can add green onions, you can add carrots, it is up to you how you want this work as.
Female: It is ready.
Yana: Soup is ready.
Female: Wow! Very simple.
Yana: Very simple and you can add some green [Muffled] which I do not have you know just to make it nice. You can slide that and like bread cubes, try bread cubes put in it when you serve it and yes basically that’s it.
Female: Can we try?
