This tutorial will show you how to create and delete preset hosting packages in WHM. When configuring a new customer account, you can select all the limits manually. However, creating preset packages will help make the process quicker and more efficient. Give the new hosting package a name. Preferably configure them to match the plans you offer on your site. Enter the feature limit you wish to allow in this package. If your host allows you to assign an IP address when creating an account in WHM, you will see a checkbox option here. Typically, you should not assign an IP address unless it is required (eg., a site requiring SSL). In this tutorial, the host does not allow the option. In this example, we are allowed to offer Shell Access (SSH). It is typically not made available as it exposes the server to potential abuse. Do not check this unless the plan offers Frontpage extensions. Enter the alloted disk quota and bandwidth for this package. Specify a cPanel Theme. The Feature Manager allows you to disable/enable features inside of each user's cPanel account. Once you build a feature list you should edit the hosting package you wish to assign it to and add the feature list. That's it! You have successfully created a hosting package in WHM. You may also return here to add another package, edit an existing package or delete one altogether. You can see the package has been successfully deleted. You are now able to manage your hosting packages in WHM.
