It may be quick for a single potato, but that doesn't seem very practical when you're peeling say.. a dozen potatoes.
Still, peeling a potato (the "traditional" way) is faster than pouring a pot of water, heating stove, wait for pot of water to boil, pop the potato in (get that potato nice and hot, get out a tray of ice water, 10 seconds for cool down, and pull apart.
Not to mention the guy in the video peels a potato like an idiot, I mean.. a carrot.
