How to play a BB king Style Blues Lick

The lick starts with this note, E. This is the G-string on the ninth fret, and do hammer on up onto the 11 fret and then bending on the A-note here, the B-string on 10 fret. And that’s the one of the beat. [Demonstration]

Okay, that’s the first part. And on this note, we apply this fast vibrato to make it sound authentic. And the next part is like this [Demonstration], which we start again on the eight-note here and then you skip down to the string below, the E-string using the same finger. There’s a little pull off there down to the 9th fret. Pick that note again and up to the 12th fret. So we have [Demonstration]

After this note, E on the E-string, on the 12th fret, I use the ring finger on the B-string on the 12-fret to bend up this note B up to C-sharp and then landing again on the A-note, that there, 10th fret on the B-string. So it sounds like this. I play the vibrato again and the last part is [Demonstration] And there’s just the G-string here on the 11th fret and then switch to the B-string on the 12 fret and do a whole note bend.
