All right, this trick is called card “spin-a-roué” card spin or whatever. It is not really a trick. It is just something you can add to your routine. But if I can do it, this is what is supposed to look like. Like that, it is slow, like that.
And so, how to do it? It is going to take practice. You are going to drop the card a bunch. You are not going to spin it. It is going to stop, but you just keep practicing.
Next, the grips, if you can see that, like that. The thumb is going to be in the middle of the top of the card and your middle finger is going to be right under it on the bottom. And then with this finger, you are just going to hold it back and we are going to push it forward and then back, like you are going to get it, like that..
You are going to push it forward and bring it back, and at first, what I always do is try to balance the card just on your middle finger for practice. And once you get good at doing that and moving it around, add your thumb and you just give it a little flick, and always make sure that once you go like that, it is going to flick and you just want to lift up your thumb. Basically, just leave it like that and it should spin by itself.
Lift the extra fingers. Just leave them pointing down. Make sure you lift up your thumb like that, because if you do not lift up your thumb, it is going to stop and hit right there. But when you do, it is going to move, like that.
It is a nice little thing to add your routine, so practice and practice. Make sure you get the right grip, like that. Make sure you get that spin and lift up with your thumb, like that. That is what it look like. That is “spin-a-roué” card spin or whatever you want to call it.
