Dogs are psychic, I am convinced of that. They are not like the way a mother who loves her baby will not only feel her baby's feelings but will understand nonverbally what is happening. A mom will instinctively suspect, no, no, no, no she will know when something is not right with her child.
Whether or not the public in general accepts or even understands this bond and methods of communication is a mute point and has no relevancy to what a mom knows. I think that a dog uses the same ways to communicate as a baby does that is my theory. I think a dog learns words based on three things. The visualization that accompanies the words fed. The emotions attached to the words when spoken and the degree of sincerity of the speaker.
No wonder dogs are able to read your friends and relatives with such accuracy as to their true intentions. You know what I say, I say, trust your dog. After reading your dog and this is just a theory, I think one has to learn to make the mind go blank. Erase the ego and allow the picture, if you will, that visual that pops into your mind to guide you as to what the dog is conveying. That is my theory and I am sticking to it unless of course you can convince me otherwise.
Come on now, don't take me that seriously.
