Now, we start with leak number one (Music playing). And this is how you do that same leak slower (Music playing). And what I am doing is I am hitting with the D string with my thumb, the side of my thumb like (Music Playing) and then I have (Music Playing) a thump in the middle of it. And then I immediately go to the index finger for the (music playing) or the (Music Playing) then I hit it twice then (music playing) I do remember my self. (ph) (Music playing).
Then after a hit the index finger, and then I come back down and go, (Music Playing) and then I go up (Music Playing). This is new style of playing Bass and it goes back far away but it is kind of new to a lot of Bass players that have been playing (Music Playing) with their fingers and I started doing it.
When I started playing Bass, I have played like this (Music Playing) with my thumb. And then, when I was teenager, they got boring and so I started (Music Playing). I just started pulling the strings (Music Playing). We did not have a rhythm machine, we used to have one and we lost it. So, I have to be my own rhythm machine. So, I went (Music Playing). Now, I suggest the thumb, you got to remember a lot of people do that with the index and the thumb but I am doing it with just (Music Playing). It is hard to do as you can see. And then after I started doing that I busted up my thumb really bad one day. So, I have to figure out another way to do it. I was started adding the index finger (Music Playing). Then, I busted up my index finger and my thumb. So, I do not have any other way to play.
So, I just started pulling the strings like (Music Playing) and then, I started combining it (Music Playing). That, I broke up my finger you can bet and I started (Music Playing) and what that is, is you are just hitting the strings with your fingers and your (Music Playing). I am taking two index fingers picking out the A and the G string, now, I am hitting it.
At first, this is very hard to do, any kind of tamping on a Bass I do because the strings are made of metal, but if you keep doing it, you get good. It is not easy, but if you want to play like that you have to practice (Music Playing). And this is one of those leak says to wake up my parents, 6:00 in the morning with it (Music Playing).
