Hey, I’m Burns Scott for frugaltech and we are talking about ten ways to use your computer network to make your small business more efficient. And this is actually a white paper was publish by Cisco. I think there’s some really good ideas here and I want to share it these with you today. The first tip is to give your employees consistent access to information’s, so that you can will happen advantage or maybe some of your larger competitors and you can act more quickly to business changes.
Number 2 is to deliver anywhere, anytime access to employees on the go. So make sure that mobile communications maybe even consider a thing of service such as a VPN for your network. This folks really do need to stay in touch with, your number three is to create an effective business processes with your partners. In larger companies won’t do business with other vendors and suppliers so forth that work in a very precise way. And has neither streamline processes nor make doing business easier with them. And I think you should look in to that too. Number four, making easy to work together, smooth the collaboration between the employees, partner’s suppliers on that. Is critically important especially in this day and age.
Number five; enable employees to take their phone systems wherever they go. Missed calls can mean miss business and it can cause project delays and just all kinds of problems. And with unified messaging and may be possibly upgrading your phone system with things like follow me. Your employees can stay in touch with your costumers and your business partners.
Number six, this is very important. Streamlined your costumer communications, you’re really getting that costumer fast as way as information to their questions is critical in this stand age. And doing the things like linking your phone system to your maybe your costumer relationship means with your software that sort of thing. Very important and it can make use some money.
Number seven reduce unproductive travel time. All too often the time spend on the road is lost lots, of money. You got employees out in the field, the things aren’t happening and you’re spending a lot of money for that. With video calls with web meeting software, that’s a great way to save a lot of money and have folks a lot more productive.
Number eight, employ a main service provider as managing your network is the really the best muse of your employee’s time. Probably not, you might be better of having a main service provider take care of all that IT stuff. So you can focus and your employees can focus in what they do well. So by doing a phase rollout and doing and following implementation plan can make the process a whole lot easier to do. These tips I think are very good about using your network to plan on using your network to increase your small business efficiency. And makes you money, this stuff really is not expensive to implement and make you a whole lot of money. And make your employees and your costumers a lot happier.
