Hello and welcome back to our CAD clip lessons on Detailing and Keynotes and we are talking about keynotes by numbering instead of by text then I have just been kind of avoiding this and waiting because it is a really easy topic we can explain in one quick lesson.
So if I go back to my section inside of here, you can keynote and plan as well. It does not matter. We will have a look at that but right now all these keynotes that I am placing when I go in here and I pick a keynote by material or element, I keep using the keynote text.
Each keynote tag, notice has got my modified DG version and there is the out of the box. Each tag keynote tag comes with a numbered version of the display. A number with a box around it and what I have been using which is the text, if I say change to the keynote number and I place a tag, now what is going to happen is, it is going to place and it is going to tag that item by number instead.
So anytime you want, you can actually grab these keynotes and go over to here and say you will tag up by number instead because it has a number and a piece of text. When we double click inside of here and we go to our keynote file, there is the number and then there is the information. Okay they all have that so which one do you want display? And the third option is a number with a box around it.
So all keynotes can have a text placement, they can have a number with the box and they can have just the number okay, so we can go through in the big picture and grab all these and use our filter buttons and say uncheck all and go back to keynotes and hit okay and say okay, all the keynotes are by keynote number and they will all change or they are number with a box or they are number or they are just text.
Okay so some of them need to be still linked up here but we have that option and we can do that in plan as well. We can go to level one, I can go inside of here. Grab all these keynotes over here and do my filter. Only keynotes thank you and then go in here and change them to be by number, by number box or by text. Your choice and then of course you can use your grips and stuff to move these around in straighten them out and stuff like that.
And that is really it. I mean you just have that option of displaying it by text, by number or by box. You can do all of them, you can do some of them, you can mix match them up any way you want.
So tagging by number, by text or by number with a box, it is that easy.
