This tutorial will show you how to use spam filters in Plesk. If you have configured this task to display a link in your desktop you can click it directly from here. Otherwise, click Home to go to the main dashboard. Select the email account for which you wish to configure spam filters. Ensure that spam filtering is turned on in this mailbox. Check this box to enable spam filtering in the account. ]
Specify the number of hits required for a message to be marked as spam by entering the value into the Hits required for spam input field. Decide what you wish to do with mail that is classified as spam. Check the Modify spam mail subject checkbox if you want the subject text of messages recognized as spam to be appended with a specific tag (this helps to filter out the spam). You can also modify the tag itself.
To add a new pattern to the Black List enter the pattern into the email pattern input field and click the Add button. As you can see, you have successfully added to your Black List. It's just as easy to remove a pattern from the list. Use the same procedure for managing your White List.
All messages coming from the email addresses that match those specified in the White List will never be marked as spam. You can also train the mail filters on actual messages received. The headers for all mail that come to your mailbox are listed here. You can mark them as spam...or not spam...or forget any info stored in the database about this header.
You can also click to clear the SPAM filter database altogether. You are now able to use spam filters in Plesk.
