How to use the Calendar on the Alltel Palm Treo Pro
I am here with the Palm Treo Pro form Alltel wireless. I am going to give you a quick rundown on how to use a calendar feature on this phone. First of all, let me come to the main screen here. You can see that it will bring your calendar up and it will show you a list of the few of the events you’ve got going on. This is really nice because you can just quickly glance at it without hitting any of the buttons or going into your calendar. To get to your calendar there are three ways you can do it obviously. You can scroll down to your calendar and just click by hitting the Palm button like so or you can go back. You can touch the screen obviously or you can insert the quick key right here on the keypad and it will take you anywhere also.
Once you get in here, there are different views that you can look at your calendar from. This is the agenda view. You hit the button. It will take you to day view. Then there is week view, a month view, a year view and then again back to the agenda view. For today’s sake, we’ll leave it on the day view here and I can show you how to add a feature or add an event onto your calendar. We can scroll, pick your day and you can go back obviously or forth by scrolling or using the included stylus or you can skip ahead of weeks by just touching right there and a cool future is say you’ve been looking a couple of weeks down the row. You want to go back to today rather than scrolling all the way back. You can just go to the menu, click, and go to today. It is a nice little feature but we’ll go ahead and add something on Friday, March 20th, 2:00 we’ll say.
We’ll say we’re going to go to the dentist appointment so just type in dentist on the QWERTY keypad. You do have some words where it is going to be or what you typed before. Your start times. You can click and type in or you can scroll down to what time you want to go to. This is not the event no. You can set a reminder. Yes, you're having time the event occurs so you can set future notice this. The duration of the reminder or how long before the actual attempt. You can have your reminder alert you. You have to set it 15 minutes, from here we’ll go ahead and just to add that to our counter by hitting okay and it’s added there. To go back and delete something from the calendar you can just click it and it will pop up and you can go to the menu and delete.
Alert comes up, would you like to permanent delete this appointment? Yes, as simple as that. You can also beam your events to other people. In this menu here, there is a bunch of different options you got. You can send it to your work counter obviously with Microsoft, mall office and you can grab your contacts from there as well. This is a really nice feature. You can print using Bluetooth. So it’s got a lot of really interesting features. Another thing that you can do is you can add notes to it also by going back into edit. So you can add a bunch of notes here. Make sure you do not forget stuffs and reminders to yourself or directions even. I almost exit back out and that is how you use the calendar on the Palm Treo Pro from Alltel wireless.
