How to use the features on the Alltel Palm Treo Pro
Hi. We’re here with the new Palm Treo Pro from Alltel wireless. It comes with this neae, new packaging. I'll take the phone out and show it to you. The first thing you’ll notice about the phone me taking out of the box is this sleeky design. It’s finished in a great piano-black kind of material.
It’s only 2.4- inches wide by 4.5-inches long and only a half inch deep and it only weighs 4.7 ounces and it feels really great in the palm of your hand. We’ll turn it on here so you can take a look at the interface. Obviously its got Window Mobile Office and I’ll guide you through some of the buttons here.
We got four main buttons. You got your Windows button, a quick link to your calendar, a quick link to email and messages and then the okay button. On the right side, you’ve got the red button to end your calls and go back to the screen. The green button obviously is to place a call.
We’re going to take you to your phone menu. The buttons, it is a full QWERTY keypad with the clear finish over the top of the button so you don’t have to worry about any of the pain chipping off your buttons when you type a lot. Obviously, there’s a very large crystal clear touch screen, LCD screen that pretty much takes up all the front.
Moving around to the side of the phone here, on the right side there is a Wi-Fi button on the bottom with a 3.5milimeter audio jack and a USB port. On the left side, volume up, volume down, another quick link button that you can set. On the top, you’ve got your power button here and you’re ringer setting to turn your ringer on and off. On the back, you’ve got a 2-mega pixel camera with video capability and a speaker phone. And on the bottom corner here, you can see there is a stylus that’s integrated very well in to the corner of the phone,
We’re going back to the main screen here. The phone as I said, it comes with Windows Mobile Office and it has Wi-Fi and you can also get Alltel’s navigation with this phone. It’s a great for the professionals that are always on the run. Like I said, you can type with one hand. It’s great. It feels really good on the palm of your hand.
Since it has a Windows Mobile Office, you have features or you have programs that you can use like Excel, Adobe, Word and you can edit in those programs and its got Wi-Fi so that’s great. And you can actually use the phone as modem by plugging your computer into it. Again, this is the Palm Treo Pro from Alltel wireless.
