The next half guard attack we are going to work on when our opponent has us in the half guards or in half an hour is going to be deep on the other side. We have already worked on how to set this up from the chest it's very, very similar, okay.
So, our opponent has us at half guard. Well we are in half guard, I would like to attack the arms to make him think of anything going on at the top okay. Well I am attacking up here, I am going to slowly start cheating this knee, this knee right here, I am going to slowly start cheating it up closer and closer to his body and then up on top of his body, so that when I slide my knee across here I slide straight down. I am going to turn away from him, I am going to take this leg in a knee bar.
So I am here I have bugged the neck, I am attacking, I am trying to go for his arm, wrest control, whatever; immediately, I bump up and over, it's going to be really hard for him to sit up like this, anyway, because of my leg being here, but this is not the -- you know I am going to sit here real long, he is going to sweep you from here if you don't move.
Then reach under, go ahead and start attacking his leg, his knee, go straight to the ground, right by his tail, all the way around, all the way over, and sit back in to the knee bar. From the knee bar you have got a lot of different options as how you want to attack your opponent, but that is the good knee bar. The same angle, get in position or here, I attack up high, above the neck working to wrest control, I am making him think up here, okay; meanwhile, my knee comes up, so that you can see it I will raised it up.
My knee comes up and over, alright; so I am here, he doesn't feel this coming, up and over grab the leg sit down, wait it out, alright; Another angle or here I am attacking up high, I always cross face away from him, I am cross facing, sit up and inside the knee you know up and around.
We are on half guard, playing up high, looking for our control, whatever; nice and down; this knee comes up and over, I sit back straight over in to the knee bar. A different angle; from here I go on top of his waist right here, here and down; maybe down in to the knee bar.
Even if your opponent locks down one leg that's fine. I have got top weight control, I sit up, I am up and over and attack his leg, immediately, alright. Like I said this is very similar to the knee bar that we have worked on, from the neon chest position, so that's a good knee bar that you can have from the half guard and you are half now.
