First we are going to work on is the wrestler's clinch, but you call it head and arm clinch, wrestler's clench, tight clench, there are a lot of names for it, but basically we have got one arm and the head for those do, so the grip is the exact thing and you are going to moving a lot and your feet are going to be changing and that's fine, we are going to use that setup for our take down.
What we are going to use is this part of our forearm, that's going down this chest, right here. You can see it, we are going to use that to bump him, that gives us a lot more space to get down below his shoulders to his waist, so when I have bumped him, I am going to drop my knees straight to the ground, right in between his legs and my right foot, my outside foot is going to step in past his legs, okay. So I bump, I like to give myself a little space with the arm, bump, get some space, drop the knee straight down, this one walks up, grab right here, my ear is glued to the outside of his thigh and my shoulder is glued just above his knee, so up here, at this point I drive forward with my shoulders pushing him backwards and pulling his ankles so here.
Now we hit the ground, I don't want to just get up, I don't want to land in his guard, when I hit the ground I want to keep control of his legs and move all the way of the side of side mount. So we land here, I want to use this to go all the way up in to a side mount. So again, we are in wrestler's clinch, we are here I give myself some space, space I drop this knee right between his legs here, step and drive, up into his side mount.
From the other side, we are here, we get the head and arm clinch, I give myself some space, give him a bump, you got to be pushing and pulling each other, bump, into a side mount. The other way that you will see this set up a lot is before you get to a clinch, you will actually be out here and you are working for arm control and what I like to do is throw my hands up towards his head that gives and I am think about what's happening up here, for example, I have changed levels and we are working down here.
So we are here we are working for arm control, I like to throw my hands up. Now I step in deep with the knee, step in really deep, outside leg goes in, I pull forward, so we are here. All the way over to a side mount. The other side, we are here I shoot my hands up, my knee down, I am going to shove in full speed we are here. From the other side, we are working for arm control and the same way I takedown.
