I fail to see how this is a good idea, Okay so I'm on a long road trip and I wanna play with my Rubiks cube oh guess what, half way through the game the batteries die on the thing. Sure its a neat trick, idea whatever you want to call it. Practical No. I just know when you go to pick up and play with the cube its going to have been sitting for so long the batteries are going to have died. In other words just a world of annoyance.

There's no how-to, but I guess this uses the same technique used to "read" from leds. Apparently leds can be used to detect light too, so if you flash em on and off quickly and reading them in between, you can track the fingers and make the cubes turn. Cool idea.
