Alright folks, Johnson here, this is video number 3 in the selection I am doing on the loop function of this one here. It is a CD to check out video number one and two first. Well, in this video what are we doing is similar to video number two, I am going to beat some link a piece of music and loping it. Any difference is I am going to show you some thing on here like if the actual sample that you have recorded is slightly off, you can actually make it to its proper loop.
Now then, I will explain myself, let us say for example, I example section of music and let us say it is a tiny piece of. In other words, instead of counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, I can like this, 1, 2, 3, 4-1, 2, 3, 4-1, 2, 3, 4-1, 2, 3, 4. Now then, if I was let us say I was a machine and I was doing that as a machine would be able to do a lot better than I would and I have to incorporate that counting into counting that was perfectly in-time. What would happen very quickly is that the doggy counting, the one I did first, would be out the beat, out of time with the one that was counting in time.
Now then, utilizing a few gadgets on this guy, you can actually get that sample, get that loop in perfect beat. Now then, what I need to do first, how I am going to sample the music is simply this, there is a button here like I said and it is a video number two, real time queue in. I am going to press that on the count of 1 and then I am going to count 2, 3, 4 in time with the music that is playing.
Now then, when I get to number one again, I am going to press out and just below the out button, you have out adjust. Now then, that is important because you can adjust the actual sample. Now what I am going to do, I am going to make it so the sample when it is loop, it is slightly active sink. Alright, so that is what it goes. (Music playing). Right, you can see that is really odd.
Now we just pull this out. Now then, this is what you can do with this one here. When you press the out button and you keep your finger on the out button while you are actually listening to that sample of that loop and by utilizing the jog wheel on the actual side, you can listen to the sample correct but what you can actually do, you can stretch it to make it longer or you can reduce it t make it shorter. Now think about it, if let us say I press that button too soon, I would have to stretch that sample out to make it longer so it is in beat. If I press that button too late, I would have to reduce that sample to make it to loop, to make it in beat. So I will give you a demonstration here. So we will play it on, (Music playing), right. You have to listen while I loop this.
