Today I am going to tell you why it is so difficult to loose those last five or 10 pounds? And they throw a little bit of laugh at you?
Let us say you had to loose a 100 pound. If you lost five of those hundred, that is only 5% of the fat you have. Not a big deal, the body is not going to notice that. But if you begin to loose more, more fat, your body becomes aware of it.
“Oh my gosh, I am losing my fat reserves”. And then, we can get you down to your last 10 pounds. If you loose five of those last 10 that is 50% of your remaining fat that you have lost. We have 100 pounds and you lost 5? That was only 5%. We had 10 pounds and we lost 5? That is 50%.
So your body does not like this. It wants to save and horde its fuel because a million years ago, we were cavemen, we are not sure when or where we will get our last meal so our body likes to save that fat reserve. It is a survival mechanism. So this is why it is hard to loose those last 5 or 10 pounds. You are not alone.
What do you have to do?
You have to be a little more strict and little more consistent on your dieting and your Cardio.
