Hey, it is Meredith again. I am here to tell you about how to dress stylishly yet not frumpy when you do not feel like getting old drooled up all the time. Here in New York City it is the fashion capital of the world. You cannot go out just wearing buggy sweat pants, flip flops, well, you can wear flip flops but will get to that. Here are my attempts for dressing casually but not frumpy.
We are going to start with our casual but not frumpy with a wonderful cashmere sweater. It is great item to have on. Well, v-neck is great you can wear like a button down or a polo shirt underneath it. Keep you nice and warm. It is actually going to be a little bit dressy than say cultured sweatshirt or a sweatshirt so it is great thing to have. Okay, next think we are going to talk about is a great button down shirts. Again, it can be a little bit dressier than say wearing just a T-shirt. You can wear it actually with your cashmere sweater over it but just a little bit dressier than a silly have to wear it tuck in but it is just going to be a little bit more dressy than say a T-shirt.
All right, next things we are going to talk about are blazer. It is super easy to turn this on over just jeans and a T-shirt. It is actually going to be dressier and keep you warm at the same time. Another great thing to have is just a really simple black dress. This will be a super easy thing to just throw on if you are going out to dinner with friends. Put on some like cute little hills with it. Totally so king a casual but definitely a little bit dressier for a night out on the town.
Now, this might seem like a no bringer but jeans. Another great thing you can dress them down you can dress them up but a great way to dress up have a dressier pair of jeans is to look for a nice and dark in. It is automatically going to be a little bit dressier. You can put on some little flat with them, wearing with your cashmere sweater and you are all sets for a day out in the city.
Another great thing to have in your wardrobe is a great pair of riding boots. This looks great with jeans. They are fantastic in the city when it is kind of icky and rainy out which it is frequently as here in New York City so another great thing to have in you wardrobe.
Let us talk accessories. Accessories are really way to make your outfit a little bit dressier so you not look in all swampy. A fantastic pink, green, bright color handbag is going to really dress up your outfit just a little hint to color totally fun very fashionable. So those are my tips for dressing up just a little bit so you are not looking from be while you are out in the city.
