Today’s boxing tip is how to properly hand wrap your hands.
Now, you want to put your thumb through the loop over your hand. And since this is the long hand wrap, I can wrap my hands about three times before I go to any other directions. So, that goes 1-2 and 3. You got to make sure it is not too tight; it is just firm. You do not want to stop the circulation of the blood in your hands, so that is not good for you.
Then you go three times around your wrist then, you go up around your hand. You bring around your knuckles about three times again. It could be once, twice, or three times and this case, it will be three because I have long hand wraps. Wrap around three times. Then the third time, I go back to the wrist, under and around the thumb that would protect the thumb there and then go back to the wrist and then you going to bring it between the fingers.
Now, knowing just one way to hand wrapped your hand wraps; I mean to wrap your hands. There are various ways; basically, the main thing is to have your hands feeling comfortable and secured. So you go once, twice, three times again and then you go back to the wrist, around your hands again. Another two or three times again and then you close it, you finish it off at the wrist, and there is the hand wrap. If it feels good and comfortable, you are ready.
