Speaker: This Chocolate Pecan Pie is a sweet twist on the classic Pecan Pie.
First place four eggs, one cup of sugar and one cup of dark corn syrup in a mixer bowl attached with a flat beater. Turn to speed 6 for one minute. Then stop and scrape the bowl. Reduce the speed to 4 and gradually add three squares of melted unsweetened chocolate. Beat for one minute until it’s well blended.
Reduce the speed to stir, and add two cups of pecan halves. Now pour the mixture into an unbaked pie pastry in an ungreased pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until its slightly soft in the center. Serve this Chocolate Pecan Pie with a dollop of whipped cream.
