A quarter of inch around the edge of the pattern put not too much allowance is going to take to make like a low fat to pull over. When you start out you can pack it up a little bit and secure the stitching like all the way around we are going to fill a quarter of an inch around the pattern. I am going around the chin when I get to the mouth we are going to have to cut there a little bit so about half way up in the mouth part stop and put on reverse on and stitch backward so that we secure that. So, that when we go to turn the mouth it is not going to come out. All right, and then continue around the same thing we are going to do when we get up around the chin again. If you can back stitching, so we do not loose out stitching.

And around the again this kind of secures it so it does not recap in the mouth. Okay, it could be transferred but I have got so many that I found that it is leisure just to follow the pattern move it a little bit here.

Going around the back part now where the back opening is. Now, as soon as I get done with it again at the bottom I am going to back stitch a little bit to secure the stitching and as soon as I get done with this I will cut it on the edges again another quarter of an inch around. On the next stage, I cut it out reversed it. Now, I am putting it on the top where we were just making. Kind of like a sock we kind of gather it up and make it like a sock to put over top. Where mouth opening was where we back stitched. Make a slice right down the middle just before I do his nose cutting it out.
Now on the glove to go over the hedge on line up the stitching along just right down like a glove. A glove every foam puppet is what it is. You want to line it all up chin and this takes a little bit of journey. You might want to sit and watch television, or do something else while you are doing this because this is a little bit hideous here. I am going to tell you what we are going to do and not do it all because we will be here all day if I do. But, this comes down sometimes you have to trim a little bit off right here where we back stitched a little while ago that was so that we would not loose this part, that it would not come unstitched. So you take your steadies and just do a little turning right at the part of the leap and we back stitch just so we would not loose the stitching.
Now, I could put the tedious part. We are going to have to glue this part of this cloth to the mouth and cotton bud. It is very important that the mouth is put in right because if it is not people focus on the mouth of the puppet or eventual. That is the first thing they see and if the mouth is wrong. I had a friend with me who made puppets with me at one time. He does a little trimming on this little notch here so it is not so bulky. My friend makes puppets very quickly. Very, very quickly and I would say I want to get a big bunch down here at the end. Nothing more worth that big bunch at the end what are you going to do with that? Oh, I will just stand at the close door, but I blame professionalism and not having cultures on puppets so take it easy especially on this mouth area. It may take you one or two. Actually my first attempt which I made about 15 years ago I got it here on I am going to show it to you. After a while what you do, is you take all that cloth and I am going to do it today, but you take it all this cloth and you take a straighten pin. I will just start you out all way around the edge.
