…a lot taller and he can not wrap his legs around, so he can stand on a table or a stool. Now, the same thing as with Bugs Bunny, now this one, I see; I have done so many I can not remember, with a little foam mouth like I just showed you. Again, measure, then he like that with the stitching around here, you have to look at it at decide, what am I going to do with this situation?
Take it easy, just do not be in any hurry, you may make mistake, you can fix it, and take some scissors picking out a little of stitching around there to show his mouth. You take some scissors and snip along and open it up; again he has got those little Styrofoam balls, which are not the most pleasant to have it all over your house.
Then, see I measured so that I can see how big his mouth was. Take a little piece of cardboard or a little paper pattern inside and trace around, and then I take that pattern and make that basic foam mouth with the cardboard and the felt over top and scored it at the back so his mouth works really well.
And there goes Papa Smurfs again, with this wonderful weather; here in the middle of November, in Michigan because it is a very unusual day. He has got a puppet on his hand.
“I thought I saw a pussy cat.” “Suffering, succotash,” you can do a lot with Sylvester. He is a school teacher, he get to give announcements; he get to do so many different things. Another puppet I enjoyed working with was Alvin the Chipmunk, Alvin is one of those …

Talking dolls, again I will show you. This is theater, right? Alvin, Theodore and Simon, this is what Alvin looks like when I first bought him. He has just a little sewing right there and he had little teeth, and so I just took some scissors and cut from where his mouth should be. I took his little teeth off and glued the merrily type, I think Theodore talks too.

You are hungry, okay. Then, what I did with Alvin was open up the back, put a little sock inside, and he has got fiber fillings than with those Styrofoam balls there so hard. I took a piece of paper, I open that up, see if there was any black in there, just plain with fiber fill and I trace around just about the size that I wanted his mouth to be, and then I took the pattern and again, used the foam base and this cardboard and the scoring; see, there.
I have not done the other two, I should also show you Simon, let me get Simon. Here Simon tabbed by his little ass, he is a talker too, I think. He has got glasses on and the same thing again just like I said with Theodore. Cut right here, take these off with a little full pattern, slip it off at the back. I saved the pattern for the chipmunks, because I have not done the other two, but I will show you. I will just take a little piece of paper and trace; a little piece of paper trace right around there, so I can see just by sticking in his mouth, it is not all that hard, you can sit and watch television, while you are doing that and cut it out on black and cut it out in foam.
