How to Make a Balloon Puppy

Alright, it is puppy dog time. Now, here go.

I got my inflated balloon.

I probably under inflated this just a bit, but you will see why that is good for beginner in just a minute.

Okay, we are going to make a head. We do not want the balloon to hard so we just squeeze it gently,

Give it a twist, and that is head and there’s the rest of the balloon.

Grab the two sides of the bubbles there. Give it a squeeze and a twist,

And there’s our head, our ears and the rest of the balloon.

Fold it there, as you can see that gives us a nice easy wide of measuring.

Okay, a little bit of squeezing again. Moving here, always down the balloon,

Twist the two ears together and you can do this easily by pulling on the ears just a little bit,

So they move away from the rest of the balloon, and there you have the head and the ears.

We are going to make a neck. Once again, a bit of a squeeze,

Here we go,

Two legs, just like ears, but longer.

Always give a squeeze everytime I work the balloon, just moving the air down a little bit.

There we go. Another gentle squeeze, follow the legs and this the way you are going to make the front leg, the side link of the back legs. Otherwise you are doing a giraffe.

So here we have our puppy dog with his two ears, his two legs. Not just long ears,

There is the back two legs. They are nice and equal and here is our tail.

Like I said, it is under inflated. But, if you are running out balloon and this was rock hard, you would not be able successfully make the back legs and it would look awful.

Where at this can still be rescued, simply by adding a little bubble on the end of the tail,

And kids will love that.

Alright!

Now, we are going to add some personality to our puppy dog.

I use a felt pen of course,

I like the outlines in Australia,

Draw the eyes,

Eye brows,

Nose,

And a puppy dog smile.

So, there we have it. It is a puppy dog with personality.

You can change the personality simply by changing the eye brows, or the mouth or even the shape of the eyes.
