Alright folks, we got another video here with regards turntablism. Now, I have done quite a few of these, and bearing in mind, on you tube, there are hundreds and hundreds of people teaching you how to mix, cut and scratch, alright? So it’s not just me, check them all out, alright? Because I can give you a bit of advice but other people can give you a bit more advise. I just want to tell you something actually very quickly, I brought these today, little energy bombs right, and I thought, great, we’re gonna have them in the house and I brought them home, just about to plug them in and guess what? Long footing, water bronco, right, anyway, that’s by the buy. Right now then, turntablism, okay, now then, if you have seen the video where I’m using a zip like show, check that one out, alright? Because that really follows with this one, I might even put that one underneath here okay, as a video response. But I’ve done a few on certain aspects on actual turntablism and scratching, which is one of all that. But I want you now to do this for me, and if you can listen, understand and appreciate what I’m all about, you will find that even you would be able too scratch when you thought you weren’t able to. Okay, now then, just listen to this. (Music Playing) Alright now then, I sounded like a bit like Double Dutch, didn’t I? But, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, right? (Music Playing), now then, this is the difference between that sound and absolutely because I’m off my head, well probably not actually, and it’s actually making sense, now the uh, forward motion, uhm, backward motion, that’s how simple it is, okay? Listen, hold on, by the way, the track I’m going to be scratching with is a track by Trouble Funk and it’s entitled Pump Me Up, goes like this (Music Playing), and then what I’m going to be using, to mix in with, okay is 9:00 p.m. ‘til I come by ATV, which sounds like this (Music Playing). It doesn’t really matter, actually I’m just using it because there’s a beat there. Alright, now then, before we do anything, we’re going to say (Music Playing). Now, why am I just saying those funny sort of sounds? Because this is the same principle with the zip, you’re messing around with the zip, you can be on the bus, in a car, in bed on the bog, it doesn’t matter, you’ve got far, it doesn’t matter, because you can just be whistling away, you’re gonna like (Music Playing) you know, du, can be one way, di, the other way (Music Playing), alright, I’ll show you, have a listen, alright, let’s get it ready, let’s get it set-up (Music Playing), right, now what’s happening now, very quickly, for the partially sighted, what I’m doing, pressing start, and then I’ve got my finger actually on the record, okay? The platter is moving underneath the record and I’ve got the volume, on the mixer at full, okay? I’m not going to be putting the volume on the mixer up or down, the volume is gonna stay up, okay period, right. Now, listen.
