All right folks, welcome to my first mixing lesson. Bars not shape even well it is about this, can you see that? That is bar. How I count to is simply this 1123, 2123, 3123, 4123 bare that in mind. Stop that record, I will get that there hopefully you can see it okay. On the first beat we will start the count (Music playing) 34, 1123, 2123 3123, 4123, 1123, 2123, 3123, 4123 (Music playing) hands on.
All right, the reason for that is simply this. If actually counted the bars that I just count it there and for every bar I put a cross I am not sure exactly maybe there was four or six. If let us say there was a record playing now and I want you to mix this song into the instrumental break, but I wanted the vocals to go in exactly the time that the instrumental break comes in, what do I do? I count back how many bars before the instrumental break okay. All you do is put a record on and spin back, spin back.
It is difficult to begin but eventually you will learn how to do it. So, I would spin 1, 123, 2123, 3123, 4123. I will do that four or six time depending on how many are there.
And then, what I would do, I would make a mental mark, knowing that soon is that time comes in with the record that is playing I need to stop this one off. Therefore, as soon is this one stops I can slowly mixed it in, mess around with base EQ to the smashing thing that will thinks fantastic and as soon as the instrumental break comes in, vocals comes in and bang you have got a good spot on mix. Hopefully the next one will do something cool. See you soon Bye-Bye.
