Alright now then, step by step. First of all, all the level of the mixer let me just move it down so you can see at mixer, okay. But all levels down will turn it off. Now then this is what I’m going to do I will play the music and what I’m going to do is just start to increase the volume. Here, can you see them it’s just the band. There we go, that’s about it right if you can see it’s just on our clipping in the yellow the amber and it’s not really good on the right we don’t really want to interrupt the interaction to clicking just will tone you bit but if you go to much on the red then straight way maybe you going to stop to get horrible signs for you.
Once you’ve done that then what you need to do is this I’m going to have to explain this now because while I’m moving the dial I’m going to recording it. Now, here is the tip this is what you do you just do a test run, think about this logically you plug the audio photo into the back of the mixer and you put the mini jack on the camera. Now at that point the camera will not pick up any sound via the two little microphones just go in front of it. The only thing you do is pick up the volume and then you settle your levels you done to east point even to has to have the minds free because you are on your own on just so they can hear them like so, like that.
What I’m going to do is this, you were be able to see, you were be to hear me but you were be able to see what I’m doing and hear the audio I will have my volume up but I’m going to have the boost volume or way down. Now I’ve this in the past. What you have to do is to find an angle in the camera so we can see with boost dial is what, think about it it’s logical but it’s simple and it’s easy and shows you exactly where the right volume should be simply like this as you increasing the volume when you play this back what will happen is or a sudden the volume will increase on your PC to get higher and higher and higher but because the camera is angled on this dial you can see exactly the right place for the right audio signal. In other words as soon as you start going to high you will know it’s too much when it’s too low you will think you needs to be higher.
So just carry on watching the camera, watching until they are on the right place. But also when you turned up advantage to that when that’s to do slowly, okay so I’m going to go slowly like this and you will actually hear it as I’m increasing the volume but you won’t hear me. Probably a good thing alright, what will do I plug it in and I will show you exactly what I mean. You hear a little bit click, okay.
Okay, there you go it’s basically it’s not simple so all I’ve done is I’ve angle the camera only actually on the boost control I plugged it directly into the camera and then while the music playing I slowly turned the boost up. So, I’m watching what I’m doing so in other words then when I will play this particular film back I can look and I can think yet that is the right point that. So, then if I will come back and do it again I will not have to think whether the volume will be going to build with the chime. Because I’ll know the boost see there going to be let say what as let say with regards to the clock. Say it going to be at 9:00 half at 9:00r 10:00, 11:00, or 12:00.whatever because I stays at first and I got the audio perfect as I supposed to do on the entire set and say I worked two hours and realizing the audio was too low and was too high first of watching practicing enjoy.
